As a way to show our appreciation for all the World Tavern Poker Tournaments across the country, we are announcing that March 22 to 28 is now officially
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR APPRECIATION WEEK!
So what does this mean?
It means that we are asking ALL WORLD TAVERN POKER PLAYERS to step up and show their thanks to their TDs.
Remember that most TDs are the reason that you have World Tavern Poker running every week…and that most of them do not even get paid!
Here are the TOP 20 Things a TD puts up with:
1. We're down to 7.
2. Why aren't points updated? The tournament has been over for 10 minutes?
3. Oh my gosh, Listen to what just happened to me.
4. Hey, We're down to 7!
5. That isn't a rule at my Uncle Phil's Game.
6. Can we take a smoke break?
7. We're down to 7!!
8. Another smoke break?? Come on!!
9. I hate this stupid game….Sign me up for the 10 o'clock.
10. We're down to 7 over here!
11. How many points do I get for 18th place?
12. Can I eat my Big Mac in here?
13. We're down to 7, Come on!!!
14. I don't even know why I bothered to win, this isn't a TOC bar.
15. I didn't hear the blinds go up!

So what should you be doing for your TD?
How about choosing any 3 of these ways to say THANKS!
• Buy your TD a drink
• Have everything set up for them before the game starts
• Clean up for them at the end of the night
• Buy them dinner
• Buy them a small gift (gift card)
• Chip in to buy your TD a badge to the Open
• Make a special toast before the game
• Run the tournament for them that week
