Mary just called…they are in the 5th round and she just tripled up with pocket Kings and is sitting with around $6,000 in chips! Go get ‘em Mary. She also had a couple of other funny stories.
Her daughter Nicky put a Donkey Ring Tone on her phone and as Mary was walking through the poker room yesterday looking for her seat, her phone rings with a HEE HAW and everyone turns around laughing.
Then her friend Chrissie came so close to taking out Doyle Brunson…LITERALLY…She almost hit Doyle with her car!
Mary says she is having an absolute blast…and one of her dealers used to be a WTP Tournament Director in North Carolina.

Marlyn beats 1100 players in the field of 2200 to make it to the 1/2 way point. Great Job Marlyn!!!

June 4 5:12pm Lonnie gets knocked out in the 3rd level with his pocket queens. Flop came J 8 3...he moved all in and his opponent had pocket 8's! He said that he lost a number of coin flips with pocket pairs. Don't worry Lonnie, take them down at the cash tables!!!

Lonnie has arrived and registration for Event #7 has gone smoothly. He is 20 minutes away from cards being in the air. He said "he wants to make WTP proud". He also said that he has only had 45 minutes sleep in the last 24 hours! Don't fall asleep when those aces come around Lonnie! Good Luck!!!
