New Point Update System

NEW POINT UPDATE SYSTEM – MUST READ!

We have had some “issues” in regards to points not being given out accurately based on the number of players registered for an event. Many of these issues are from players registering for a game but not showing up.

Currently, TDs must un-register or mark absent any players that did not play to get the accurate player count and appropriate points.

We understand that this requires more work and we want to make this easier on the TD so we have added a new function to the Update Points Section.

Now the TD can quickly select the # of players that actually played without the ability to choose a number greater than the # of players registered (hope this makes sense)

Above all, it is imperative that all of our Tournament Directors enter the correct number of players to ensure that points are being awarded fairly and that players do not search for ways to "beat the system". We are very excited about this new functionality!!!!

Thanks so much for all of your help with this!

More Starting Chips?

We are considering making a move to larger starting chip stacks...but need your help!

Several bars have already started testing both 7k and 10k starting chip counts.

If you'd like your bar to be part of the test, just ask your tournament director for their help. In your next early game, give each player an extra white chip ($5k) and then please let me know the following

1. Which bar
2. # of players
3. Total time to play the tournament.

Based on the feedback we get, we will consider making the change for next season.

Thanks so much for everyone's help!
